The World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a public health emergency of international concern on January 30, 2020. A global health crisis of this magnitude has resulted in unprecedented resource restructuring in terms of both speed and scale of mobilization.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a difficult time for Indians and the global community. Without a doubt, this pandemic has had disparate effects on society, disproportionately affecting lower-income individuals who serve as the ostensibly ‘essential’ workers, further deepening the inequality spectrum.

During the pandemic, My Seeds Family has attained a new level of providing effective aid in a wide range of philanthropic actions under “My Cheyutha 2020” Mission, likely motivated by both utilitarianism and deontological factors in response to the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
